对啊，受小时候看的我国出版的儿童版伟人传记所害，一直都觉得是为黑奴打的。我转的那篇文的第四部分就是讲“历史由谁书写”这个问题，即南北战争刚结束时学界对林肯是出于政治原因还是个人原因发动战争有很大争议（因为有证据表明战争不是唯一的最优手段），又过了一段时间才说用黑奴来定性。

    許多的事情需要由後人來做定論.南北戰爭是美國立國以來的第一次大內戰也是最後一次.這也是美國強大了二百多年的主因. 但許多戰爭的起因都不是少數幾個因子就能引發的.追根究底時,以我們的觀點會覺得啼笑皆非.像是足球運動也能引發二國的戰爭.
  偉大的政治謀略家在訴之武力發動戰爭前,都會製造機會尋求藉口已達到其正當性.是藉口還是理由歷史學家往往也會有正反二派以上的看法.

    恩，我以前也是这么听说的……不过那篇文的总结有些偏颇，后期林肯之所以打出黑奴的旗号，是为了防止英国支持南部——因为英国是宣布废除奴隶制的国家，如果战争以反对奴隶制为名，那么英国很难再支持南部了。学术界也没有把南北战争等同于解放黑奴，至少我确信有许多米国教授（即便不是教历史的）都会这样讲述南北战争，并且纠正了许多中国学生的错误印象……

顺便截取一篇文章的片段：
“ In his inaugural address, delivered on March 4, 1861, Lincoln proclaimed that it was his duty to maintain the Union. He also declared that he had no intention of ending slavery where it existed, or of repealing the Fugitive Slave Law -- a position that horrified African Americans and their white allies....."

"To retain the loyalty of the remaining border states -- Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, and Missouri -- President Lincoln insisted that the war was not about slavery or black rights; it was a war to preserve the Union. "

    说的没错～搞不好北方人的想法和南方人的想法也不同，很难说林肯最后是不是真的有为黑奴的权利考虑过，不过南北战争的主因不是因为黑奴这一点倒是很明显 刚刚的回复肿么都发不上来，再试一次：

    说的很对，我的上n个回复发不上来，绝望鸟～有些话林肯自己说过很多次的，不过他很硬气，最初确实没有找slavery这种借口，但最后free slaves的确成为了内战的结果之一。

   有种看法，说中国目前的民主程度较之前已经相当不错了。历史上中国一贯是封建君主制，这个制度实行了几千年，是中国的传统。而现在中国刚刚摆脱这种兄终弟及子承父业的世袭制，已然是个进步。当然还有很大的提升空间，不过不宜操之过急，同时进步的具体方向也得自己探索。以上只是介绍一种看法。大家新年接着玩儿。

    这基本和我的看法相同。封建君主制除了清朝，皇权也是很受限的，因为有文化的道统限制他。提升空间是永无止境，不是照搬别人，而是自己探索，也需要合适时机。
