Pens can write完全没有问题
就象Guns can kill
或者It is safe to eat
不会说It is safe to be eaten
英文有很多exceptions

What I said is just kidding 没有问题
"What I said"本身是一个noun
kidding是一个gerund

若是each of the writting tools则可以用have

不是吧

那么one of our men之后是is还是are?

on air是"在做节目"
在天上可以说on airplane

Writting 和Charactor都是serious mispelling

even you are by air~~
不用even if/even when
严重错误
意思根本不对

主谓一致的问题是56错了 pens can write 和 ball pen can write charactors  完全不一样的何况他后面那个是逗号然后下半句里又出现了you 请问到底哪个是主语??

你后面加了charactors就成为了一个主谓宾的简单句 ball pen 是作为动作的主体  what i said is just kidding和这个同理

on air 可以表示在飞机上也可以表示在录制节目新东方雅思阅读第二册里有例子

even you are on air 完全可以这样用  请问哪里错了

意思更加不同
主语还是"人"
是deep structure/surface structure的分别

On the Surface Structure level of English, the noun storm is the subject of the sentence. Yet, it can't be the Agent because it is not animate; rather, it's that "unvolitional" inanimate "force" that you described in your definition of the Instrument.

Dr. JCS: Exactly! Take another sentence:
Guns kill people.
The noun guns is the subject on the Surface Structure level. But on the Deep Structure level the noun guns is the Instrument which carries out the action "to kill."

我觉得Ballpens can write characters
是不可以说和you争主语的

他这个KIDDING所指的是刚才她所说的话不是泛泛而谈的有特定含义因此不能用零冠词 a kidding显然更好

我认为kidding应该是uncountable

另一方面
绝大部份gerunds都是uncountable
不过Collins Cobuild 说有一小部分gerunds是countable
比如说meeting, setting, turning, warning
我发现字典里面
它们都是自己main entry
另外的uncountable gerunds
都是在infinitive下面的

PS:我的数学差啊!!!!!!上海卷文科的应该是全中国高考数学卷里面最简单的我都只能考100左右唉惨哪~~
