DP是墨水笔量产商，最初制造滴管笔，最终改为生产压杆自灌墨墨水笔。DP过去生产中低档品质的滴管笔，他们早期的滴管比质量非常低，可能是他们只是买入这些笔、然后打上自己的商标。后期的滴管笔质量有所改善，他们的滴管笔包括嵌贝母的、包金[注1]和镀银的产品。DP也销售橡胶墨囊灌墨的笔。在20世纪20年代改为生产压杆自灌墨墨水笔之后，他们的产品品质确实有所提高，并且制造了一批非常不错的平顶钢笔——看起来非常想National Pen Products的产品线。他们销售全线的男女用笔，甚至长短笔（没看懂）。在20世纪20年代，某些情况下其笔的商标是“新DP”。他们的产品线在30年代开始下滑，貌似他们的笔又从其他制笔商那里买来、打上Diamond PP的商标。20世纪30年代，他们似乎聚焦销售桌面产品，他们的商标包括Blofil、Protector、Diamond Point and Selfill.

注1：指的是将10Kt以上品位的金层用机械以高温高压处理的方式压延附着在金属基材上，也就是通常说的贴金。美国联邦规定中，"Gold Filled"是指那些金层的重量在包括金属基材在内的总重量中占到1/20以上的制品。粗略的计算大约应该是25微米左右的厚度，金制品一般表面刻有"GF"，而在英国，两面贴金或全面贴金被称为"Filled"，单面或部分贴金是"Rolled"，刻印为"GR"，"Gold Rolled"。

google到这么一款笔：

Ever Rite fountain pen that was made in New Jersey in the 1930s.  It is a long short style pen. When the cap is screwed down, the pen is very short, but when you post the cap, you have a long pen. I guess it is an eyedropper fill pen, there is no filling system but the section does have a long neck on it?  No nib.
