标题: [LONG37藏品]Diamond Point Pen Company 贝母杆钢笔 [打印本页] 作者: long37 时间: 2010-1-14 01:40 标题: [LONG37藏品]Diamond Point Pen Company 贝母杆钢笔 想买滴入式贝母笔很多年，可惜一直没找到价格合适品质好的。而且派克等几个大牌的贝母笔价格都吓死人,实在是买不下手.最近无聊找找了当年一些还不错的牌子,买到只库存的产品.就是下面看大家看到的这个,笔是一家叫Diamond Point Pen Company的公司的产品.整体做的还不错,跟当年派克的水平基本一样。当年的加工技术不是很好,整体做的都比较糙,材料上也有缺陷,这只笔算是保管的十分的好,硬橡胶难得的没有变色.贝母镶嵌也一如当年的温润闪亮.最难的还是由于没娘的孩子没人疼,笔的价格木人炒,只要大牌1/10的价格就能拥有了.

NYC Prolific maker of fountain pens. Started out with eyedropper and eventually moved on to lever fillers. They made some low and medium quality eyedroppers. Their early eyedropper pens were very low quality, they may have just been buying these pens and marking them with their name. The later eyedroppers improved in quality. Their eyedroppers included mother of pearl mounted and also gold filled and sterling overlays. They also sold a line of blo filler pens. After switching over to lever fill pens in the 20s, their quality really seemed to pick up and they made some very nice flattop pens that are very similar to the National Pen Products lines. They sold a full line of men's and ladies pens and even a long/short pen. Sometime in the 1920s they started marking their pens "New Diamond Point". Their pen line went downhill in the 1930s and these pens just seem to have been purchased from another company and marked Diamond PP. They seemed to have focused on selling desk sets in the 1930s. Their trademarks included Blofil , Protector, Diamond Point and Selfill.
