标题: 关于红环系列铅笔及其它系列红环笔的产地问题
I’ve received your enquiry through the customer service showing that you’ve been very confused by the COO of the rOtring 600 you ordered recently.

I’m the Global brand manager for rOtring. My job consist in developing new products for the brand while maintaining a certain consistency for rOtring brand all over the world.

I can assure you that the rOtring 600 you received is made in Japan as it’s been the case for the old rOtring 600 – same supplier. It’s also the same supplier who produces the rOtring 800 but the logo imprint on pen barrel has changed with global re-launch last year (800 has a COO imprint on it - see picture attached). We plan to add COO on all our pen barrels by 2014.

We do have our distribution center in China though where all products have to be dispatched to other destinations (Europe, South-East Asia, EMEA etc.) So, It is probably due to wrong setup in the system of EMEA (our European center - We had some cases that Country of Origin was set up wrong in EMEA system.)

Sorry for the confusion but sometimes reply from customer service doesn’t come through me either, only if there’s an issue or no answer found.

We only have not more than 3 COO for our products which are Germany for Technical pens, Japan for high end range Mechanical Pencils 800/600 / 500/300 and Multi-pens and some others made in Taiwan.

不过其中的一句话 I can assure you that the rOtring 600 you received is made in Japan as it’s been the case for the old rOtring 600 – same supplier

这里面的the old rOtring 600具体是指多old的产品.. 想来不太可能是指从上世纪八九十年代刚开始生产到现在为止全部都是日产吧..
